‘Go’ Bag List for Hospitals and Emergencies

It’s always best to be prepared. With leptomeningeal disease, you may end up running to the emergency room. Or you go in for a standard appointment and the next thing you know, you’ve been admitted to the hospital. There are always surprises with this disease.

It can be helpful to bring a ‘go’ bag with you when you leave the house. If you always use the same car, you can even leave it in the car.

Suggestions of what to include:

  • Change of clothes for the patient
  • Change of clothes for caregiver(s)
  • Comfortable items to sleep in
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Face wipes
  • Phone charger
  • A comfort item such as a pair of fuzzy socks and a blanket
  • Any medications you need (if you have extra supply)
  • Anything extra that you need or would help

Print this list, make it your own, get your bag packed and hopefully, you won’t need it!
